Sheppard Lee Edmonds applied for an advance on 24 January 1920. The advance was approved on 30 April 1920. His property was to be used solely for grazing purposes. It consisted of 4053 acres in the County of Bunarba, Parish of Numby Numby, Land District of Moree and was a Crown Lease No.18/3. His holding was big enough to be a home maintenance area.
The block was recognised as being a difficult holding due to the extremes of flood and drought. Despite this Edmonds made a final payment of Interest and principle by 6 May 1924.
