The block at this time was numbered SP 1920/41 and was transferred from a settler by the name of McLean.[1] The Block consisted of 43 acres and located at Dural not far from Pennant Hills Railway Station. Nelson forfeited the block transferring it to Percy William Loomes when at this time the Settlement Purchase Number was stated as being SP 1922/4. At the time of the transfer the property was judged to be in very poor condition. Nelson, who was suffering from tuberculosis was unable to look after it.
