John Barber applied for his loan on 27 November 1919. It was finally approved on 23 June 1920. His block consisted of 137 acres and was located in the County of Rous, Parish of Tomki, Land District of Casino. His property was on Springrove Road, Casino.[1]

It was stated on 10 January 1920, that

he was a capable farmer, the holding was a good property and it was a home maintenance area. [2]

John Barber had repaid the Advance in full by 8 October 1923.[3]
