DISCHARGED  Sydney – 15 June 1919 – Medically Unfit – gun shot wound left knee, joint still weak May 1919.

 After receiving training at the Hawkesbury Agricultural College, James Bennett applied for a block at Hillview, Liverpool.  He made the original application on or about 20 May 1919.[1]  His block consisted of six acres and was in the County of Cumberland, Parish of St.Luke,  Parramatta Land District.  He started at Hillview on 17 May 1920.[2]
