Roy Dagg’s block was a Settlement Purchase No. 1920.37 on the Richmond River, near Woodburn NSW. Roy’s farm consisted of 180 acres which was made up of four parcels of land. Lots 28, 6, 64 and 104. He was mostly engaged in dairy farming with the dairy herd being milked twice a day by hand. Roy also had pigs, grew sugar cane and vegetables such as pumpkins, sweet potatoes and artichokes.
