Angus McDonald’s block consisted of 66 acres and was in the County of Rous, Parish of Gundurimba, Lismore Land District.  It was a Returned Soldiers Special Holding.[1]

There was some problem in obtaining the advance because of confirmation about the sale of the land being received by the Department of Repatriation.  His Confirmation Certificate dated 23 February 1920 had been produced and granted.[2]

On 3 January 1922 McDonald was given permission to reside in Lismore.[3]

On 16 November 1923, his advance was rescinded.[4]  No reason was given for this.
