Robert Turner applied for a loan twice, 1) on 12 July 1920 and 2) on 12 March 1921.[1]

He had first applied for a block of land consisting of 40 acres from Spencers Farm (2) at Narrandera, but as he was unsuccessful in this land, his first application for a loan was cancelled.  Eldred P. Keatinge (Loan 6631) took up this block instead.[2]

Robert Turner’s successful application for a block consisted of 656 acres in the County of Cooper and Bourke, parish of Fennell, Narrandera Land District. [3] This block was on Billaah Estate, Grong Grong with permanent residence beginning on 21 April 1921.[4] Turner transferred his block to Norman Alexander Corcoran in 1925.[5] He repaid the outstanding amount of his loan in full on 20 March 1926.
